How to handle a missed day
Missing 1 day: catch up the missed tasks in the next day's session. Don't skip them.
Missing 2 consecutive days: you must complete the weekend project block regardless — it's the non-negotiable anchor.
Missing 3+ days: sit down, write in the miss log what happened, and recommit. The plan doesn't restart — it continues from where you stopped.

What this plan actually gets you
Realistic 2-month outcome: 2 deployed projects on GitHub, a DevOps narrative you can defend, and interviews at 10–14 LPA Bangalore startups.
12–14 LPA is achievable in 3–4 months if you complete both projects and can walk through your architecture confidently. Target: Razorpay, Groww, Cred, Juspay, Slice tier.
FAANG in 2 years is high difficulty. It needs: CKA, 150+ LC mediums, system design depth, and 1+ year at a real product company first. Keep it as a north star, not a day-1 plan.
Google in 4 years needs: strong product company stint, CKA + Terraform certs, measurable infra ownership, and a referral. It's achievable. Not guaranteed.
Your edge: HP Indigo is a real production system. "Automated testing for globally distributed printing platforms serving enterprise clients" lands differently than a bootcamp grad. Don't minimize it — reframe it.
Read quarterly. Execute the 60-day plan daily. Don't let the 4-year vision distract from this week's lab.
The 4-year arc (honest version)
Now → 6MComplete this plan. Get a 12–14 LPA DevOps/Platform Engineer role at a funded startup. This is the only goal right now.
6M → 18MOwn infra at the startup. Get on-call. CKA cert. Terraform Associate. 50 LC mediums. Contribute 1 open source infra tool.
18M → 3YMove to a larger product company (20–28 LPA). Lead an infra project end to end. AWS Solutions Architect or GCP Professional. Build referral network.
3Y → 4YFAANG/Google SRE application. 150+ LC, system design fluency (design K8s, design global CI/CD), referral in hand. Achievable if every step executes.
Skills gap right now
Algorithms: 150 LC mediums needed for FAANG. Start 3/week after Month 2. Focus: graphs, DP, trees.
System design: Zero right now — that's fine. Read "Designing Data-Intensive Applications" after Month 2. Practice 1 design/week from Month 6.
K8s depth: This plan gives exposure. CKA needs internals: scheduling, RBAC, CNI plugins, etcd, admission controllers. Study Month 3+.
Referrals: Comment thoughtfully on posts from Google/Amazon SREs now. Build genuine connections. Never cold-ask for a referral — earn it first.
